WTAF?!

I know, I know, you all want this shoved in your face NOW.

Pies are one of the newest creations to come out of the Choc & Cheese kitchen.

In all the madness of running a business, it is being creative and creating new things that keeps me going and my Pies are just one example of this creative release.

Almost an extension of my tarts I wanted to create something bigger, more mouthwatering and even more crazy and these were the result.

A delicious pie made of a biscuit base, a baked cheesecake filling and then topped with either a marshmallow cream or a meringue.

Pie Flavours

Darth Smore’aul – Well and truly taken over by the dark side, this pie combines a digestive biscuit base with a decadent chocolate cheesecake topped with a homemade vanilla marshmallow cream.
Luke Pie-walker – A Lemon Cheesecake pie topped with fluffy Raspberry Italian meringue.
Chew Baker – A Toffee Cheesecake Pie topped with caramelized apple, crumble topping and chewy fudge pieces.
O-Pie Wan – A Blueberry Cheesecake topped with a dragon fruit marshmallow cream.

My Cheesecake Tarts are something a little bit different and something that I love making. I don’t do the tarts for markets and events all year round as the flavours I have created tend to lend themselves to specific times of the year.

These tasty little tarts consist of a pastry base with a delicious cheesecake filling, sometimes set and sometimes baked, sometimes I even sneek in some of the pie flavours.

Tart Flavours

Lemon Meringue – Baked Lemon Cheesecake topped with meringue.
Toffee Apple Crumble – Baked Toffee Cheesecake topped with caramilized apple and crumble topping.
Strawberry – A light set vanilla cheesecake with fresh strawberries.
Raspberry & Lemon – A light set Lemon Cheesecake topped with fresh raspberry.
Panettone Tart – Like a bread and butter pudding but with Panettone and Vanilla Cheesecake.
Hot Cross Bun Cheesecake – Again like a bread and butter but not quite.
